Content and Document Management
The customer specialises in providing Electronic Document and Content Management & Workflow solutions. Based out of UK, their major clients include public and private Hospitals. There was a need to design mobile and web app design for appointment management. After multiple rounds of discussions with the client and understanding the requirements thoroughly, we arrived at the type of user personas for the app - Patients, Clinicians and Admins. We proposed to design two separate web apps - one for patients and one for clinicians and admin. After defining the information architecture, we proceeded with the low fidelity and high fidelity wireframes. Calendar feature was introduced for easy navigation between days and appointments. Colour coding was used for different specialities and statuses of appointments for quick perception. Highly responsive web app designs were delivered first. The design components and library built were scalable so as to include newer features as the product evolves. Looking at the successful implementation and delivery of the web app, the client decided to design a mobile app for the patients. The mobile app version 1 was designed quickly and was floated with the stakeholders. We are currently enhancing the mobile app design with newer features.
